Can I keep each job’s invoices separate?
Yes — one project per job or site. Builders’ merchants, plant hire and subcontractor invoices for 12 High Street stay together, and the export covers just that job.
Will it read a photo of an invoice taken on site?
Yes. Photos and scans are read the same way as PDFs, including HEIC photos straight from an iPhone, and the original stays beside the figures so you can check anything that looks wrong.
Do I get the materials, not just the totals?
Yes, wherever the invoice prints them: description, quantity, unit price and line total, as their own rows linked to the invoice — so you can compare timber prices across merchants.
What does my bookkeeper get?
An Excel or CSV export with one sheet of invoices and one of line items, plus the original files if they want them.
